Tiffins is located at the intersection of Folsom and Araphahoe in Boulder. It can be a bit tough to find if you don't know where it is- sandwiched between Coldstone Creamery and Papa John's. As I sat in Tiffins enjoying my lunch-dinner I wondered why on Earth people were cruising into Papa John's for "pizza" when they could spend the same amount on a wonderous feast at Tiffins- alas, marketing and familiarity strike again.
Tiffins is not what I'd call a well decorated restaurant, nor would I call it a poorly decorated restaurant, in fact I wouldn't call it decorated at all.

| Lovable Dosa |
The Masala Dosa is at least a foot and half long! It is served with a spice filled brown sauce and a minty-soft white one, too. Also, there is soup served along side! It has potato, onions, and other vegetables and is again quite spicy.
It is certainly a full meal all by itself, but the more the merrier is what I figured!
As I mentioned I would consider the food spicy and if you can't handle that sort of thing then perhaps Tiffins isn't for you. But every time I leave Tiffins and roll away on my bicycle I feel more content than after I eat anywhere else in Boulder. It is certainly one of my favorite places in town. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking an answer to "Where should we get Chinese?", "I'm tired of all the old places.", or "I'm hungry!". Go to Tiffins!
I've given some thought to a scoring system- I'll be frank I don't care much about decor or service. If either is noticeably terrible then I'll make mention of it in the review. Instead I will rank restaurants based solely on what matters most to me; food.
I will rank on presentation which includes how the food is served (how it is put on the plate and how the sauces are incorporated), originality- (is there anything like it in Boulder?), Deliciousness- is it tasty? To make matters easier I will rank it on a 9 point scale, each category contributing 3 points.
Presentation: 1/3
Originality: 3/3
Delicousness: 3/3
Composite score:7/9
